You still have time to stop by and register if you did not make it to the event last night, but hurry! The goal of the Fitness Challenge is to jump start those participating into a healthier lifestyle. Eating better, exercising more, drinking more water, all are great ways to stay healthy and people from all over have signed up to join, helping to encourage each other along the way.
Nutrition classes will be held on Tuesdays at 5:15 pm and participants can earn points by attending these sessions along with other events to be announced later. One display "Label Reading" is already visible upon entering the gym, full of helpful information.
Pedometers were handed out as well last night to help the participants keep track of their steps each day. Once they reach 10,000 steps they earn one point. The Gym apologizes for any inconvenience but asks that those who received pedometers last night to return them as early as late this afternoon when a new shipment is expected, with better quality pedometers. The ones handed out last night will be returned and the exchange is at no cost to you.
