Swim Team

On Saturday September 17^th 2011 at 9:30 a.m. we will have a swim clinic. This will be conducted by Cal Elder. He is currently a full time USS swimming coach for MCAL (Magic City Aquatic Club). The cost of this clinic will be $10 per swimmer. After this clinic we are planning on becoming a satellite club of MCAL. What this means is we will practice at the Gym, but our swimmers will actually be a part of the MCAL swimming program. They will be able to swim in winter USS sanctioned meets under the supervision of MCAL’s coaches and as part of their team. Our plans are to have practice at The Gym at least 1 weekday and on Saturdays. Once things get started we are hoping to add weekdays to this practice schedule. 

After this clinic on Saturday more definite plans will be in the works, I hope you can come out and meet Coach Elder and get to know him and some of his staff. 

Anyone interested in swimming must be the between the ages of 5 and 17 and be able to swim the length of the 25 yard long pool without stopping.
