The Gym (Announcements 3/3/2011)

Lots of exciting things going down at The Gym in March and with swim suit season just around the corner, you'll need to combine diet and exercise if shedding pounds is a top priority. You will need to cut about 500 calories a day to drop a pound per week.

  • Swim Lessons begin this month. Group and private lessons are available. Check out the Pool Page for details and printable forms. (Simply right click on the form and print)
  • Also in the pool, the Stroke Clinic begins March 7. Click here for more details.
  • If you need CPR certification or Lifeguard Certification-contact us for more details. We can help you with both!
  • Free Boot Camp every Saturday in March for the ladies. Meet from 8:30 to 9:30 with Barbara (a personal trainer) to get a free workout-bring all your friends. Here's what Barbara has to say about this Saturday's camp.
Weather or Not: We are on the outside track @ 8:30

Eat a good breakfast-This will get you fueled up for class.
  • Oatmeal or cereal for your carbs
  • Low-fat or Non-fat milk
  • Fruit.
